Key Counselling Services is located at a beautiful, tranquil location at Nintiringanyi Cultural Training Centre, 16-18 McCormack Street, Moorobool.  The centre offers comfortable rooms to suit individual counselling, art and sandplay therapeutic work as well as groups.

Key Counselling Services works in partnership with ‘Deadly Inspiring Youth Doing Good’ and Nintiringanyi’s programs Cairns Indigenous Youth Empowerment Program and Miriki Performing Arts.

Aside from individual counselling, we offer relationship/marriage and family counselling as well as group work sessions focusing on anger management, anxiety, depression and self-esteem.

Please find the following details in regard to our fees for our services:

Individual clients – (counselling and anger management) – $110 per session

Relationship or Family Counselling – $130 per session

Child Safety clients – $140 per session. Counsellor can also provide counselling feedback reports and attend Care Team meetings at an extra cost

NDIS clients – $156 per session. (Self-managed and Plan-managed NDIS clients only). Counsellor can also provide counselling feedback reports and attend Care Team meetings at an extra cost

Psycho-education and Therapy Programs

Strong Boys/Men Program – Seven week program for boys 12 – 15 years, 16-18 years, 18 -21 years – $60 each participant per week x 7 weeks – $420 in total

Strong Girls/Women Program – Seven week program for girls 12 – 15 years, 16-18 years, 18 -21 years – $60 each participant per week x 7 weeks – $420 in total

Managing Difficult Emotions (Anger Management) program – Seven week program for girls and boys 12 – 15 years, 16-18 years, 18 -21 years – $60 each participant per week x 7 weeks – $420 in total

Understanding and Managing Anxiety – Five week program for girls/boys 12 – 15 years, 16-18 years, 18 -21 years – $60 each participant per week x 5 weeks – $300 in total

First Nations Strong Women’s Program – 10 week program for women aged 21 to the elderly $60 per week per person x 10 weeks = $600 in total

First Nations Strong Men’s Program – 10 week program for men aged 21 to the elderly $60 per week per person x 10 weeks = $600 in total
